As we near the end of Elvis Costello week, Jim, Patrick and guest Mike Snider review ‘Get Happy!!’ This is Elvis Costello’s fourth studio album which released in 1980. Stay tuned for tomorrow when we finally wrap up an incredible week celebrating an incredible artist.

FUN FACT: Some Costello fans believe that Get Happy!! is an “atonement” honoring the work of ’60s R&B after an incident took place in 1979 at a hotel bar in which Costello used a racist slur in reference to Ray Charles singer James Brown. Costello later apologized for the outburst and denies that Get Happy!! is a reaction album to what happened in 1979.
