Notes:

We start the last full week of January with music by Lilly Hiatt (selected by two of our listerners). Plus, a pretty sick guitar riff by the National.

FUN FACT: In an interview with American Songwriter, Lilly Hiatt said that when she was writing the songs for Trinity Lane, she “felt so lonely” when developing the tracks. “I didn’t feel like going out, I didn’t feel like really participating in a lot of things when I was writing these songs. I felt like I was processing, and so sometimes I have to pull back when I’m doing that.”
